A charming pair of vintage bird figures, cast in silver-plated metal with finely detailed feathers, a raised wing forming the tail, and glass bead eyes. Each bird has a small pouring hole at the top of the head, in the tradition of figural salt and pepper shakers, though they display just as well purely as decorative pieces.
The silver plate has developed a deep, dark tarnish and patina across both pieces, giving them real vintage character. No stoppers are included with this set.
