A two-seater sofa by Roche Bobois, the French design house founded in Paris and known for its contemporary, comfort-led seating. The brand name is engraved on the polished steel frame at the back.
Low and wide, it pairs a slim upholstered base with deep, pillow-like seat, back and arm cushions in black grained leather, all finished with piped edges. Two independent headrests fold over the back, and the cushioned armrests sit on angular polished chrome side frames that run down into flat, folded steel feet, giving the piece a light, almost floating profile.
In very good condition overall, with one functional defect: the hinge mechanism of the adjustable headrests is broken, so they no longer stay in the raised position and rest folded down on the back, as shown in the photos. The leather is supple and clean, with light natural creasing and slight rubbing on the piping at the armrest corners. The chrome frame is bright, with a few light marks. Structurally solid and stable.
