A vintage candle holder in polished onyx mosaic, assembled from carefully fitted segments of translucent stone in soft grey, blue, cream, honey and rust tones. A wide shallow bowl catches the drips while a sculpted, waisted stem holds a classic taper candle. The natural banding of the onyx glows beautifully in the light, making it a decorative object in its own right on a table, mantelpiece or shelf.
In good vintage condition. A few small chips on the rim of the candle cup and on the edge of the upper collar, and some light natural inclusions and marks in the stone. The joints between the segments are intact.
