A vintage extendable dining table from the 1970s, with an oval white laminate top trimmed with a fine black edge line, resting on a sculptural chrome steel base: two polished columns joined by a crossbar and anchored by four angled feet with adjustable levellers. The top opens along its centre to take extension leaves, turning it from a compact oval table into a long racetrack table — ideal as a dining table for large gatherings, a meeting table or a generous work surface in a studio.
In vintage condition with visible signs of use. The white laminate top shows scratches, light marks and some yellowish discolouration, mainly on the end sections. The laminate edge band has small chips and scratches, especially around the curved ends. The chrome base shows spots of pitting and oxidation on the columns and feet. The extension mechanism works and the table is stable.
