A vintage table lamp in a Hollywood Regency spirit, with a slim square column in glossy black lacquer finely fluted along its length. The column is punctuated by gold-tone metal details: a stepped collar at the top, a ribbed band at mid-height and a matching foot, all standing on a stepped black lacquered base edged in gold-tone metal. The tapered fabric shade in a warm camel tone gives a soft, amber glow. A refined black and gold piece that suits a sideboard, a console or a bedside table.
Good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. The fabric shade shows light scratches, scuffs and creases on its surface, a visible fold along one side, and a small dark mark and slightly lifted edge on the top rim. The black lacquer has a few tiny pits and light marks, and the gold-tone trim shows fine surface marks. The lamp was working when photographed.
