A monolithic three-part enfilade from the 1970s, where Space Age futurism meets graphic minimalism. Black-stained ash — its open grain still visible beneath the deep ebony finish — is sliced horizontally by bands of brushed aluminium, set with polished chrome sphere knobs that catch the light like rivets on a machine.
Composed of one large eight-drawer module flanked by two four-drawer modules, the piece assembles into a single low horizon of 16 drawers stretching over 2.3 metres: a striking architectural line for a living room, a gallery wall or an entrance. Each module can also stand alone — as a dresser, a pair of nightstands or sculptural side units — allowing the composition to evolve with the space.
Radical, disciplined and unmistakably of its era, a statement piece that brings a cool, cinematic edge to any interior.
Condition
In good vintage condition. The tops show light surface scratches and a few small white marks, most visible on one of the smaller modules. There is light wear and a few small chips on the edges and plinth corners, and minor marks on some of the aluminium bands. All drawers run smoothly and the modules are structurally sound.
