A vintage stoneware vase in the Westerwald tradition, with a speckled salt-grey glaze and a bold hand-painted scroll and foliate motif in deep cobalt blue. The bulbous body narrows into a short, ringed neck and sits on a turned foot, both banded in glossy cobalt.
The surface has the characteristic pebbled, orange-peel texture of salt-glazed stoneware. Good vintage condition.
