A vintage natural hide rug with a rich brindle coat, deep chocolate brown streaked with black and warm amber tones, edged with creamy white along the belly and legs. The hair is fairly long and slightly coarse, giving the piece a textured, organic character and real depth in the light. Its full, natural outline makes it a warm accent laid on the floor beside a bed or armchair, draped over a bench or sofa, or even hung as a wall piece in a rustic, mid-century or lodge-inspired interior.
In good vintage condition. The hair is dense and even across the whole hide, with no visible bald patches. A few natural small white markings appear in the coat, and there is a small whorl in the cream area, both part of the animal's natural pattern. The edges are intact, and the natural leather backing is visible along the outline.
